Today I will be talking about the Met Gala, the Met Gala was fairly recent and was amazing, there were some of the most amazing, beautiful and intriguing outfits I've ever seen. In this post I will address the best and the most interestingly dressed of the entire event (or what I think was good) This will be done in categories; the most elegant, outrageous, interesting and extravagant.
MOST ELEGANT:
I think that the most elegant dress worn at the Met Gala was a beautiful white floor length Vera Wang dress worn by the gorgeous Selena Gomez. She paired this dress with some lovely Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.
MOST OUTRAGEOUS:
The most outrageous outfit award goes to Cara Delevingne, for the outlandish temporary tattoos she was sporting. These tattoos looked great but were certainly a strange thing to wear to the Met Gala. But props to her for doing something different to everyone else. Along with the tattoos she wore a great Stella McCartney romper. Overall she looked absolutely fantastic.
MOST INTERESTING:
The most interesting outfit was by far Beyoncé. Queen Bey's outfit for the Met Gala was a fabulous, sheer and bejewelled gown. It was a beautiful Givenchy dress and was rather revealing, but none the less beautiful.
MOST EXTRAVEGANT:
The most extravagant outfit was definitely Rihanna with her yellow Guo Pei gown, coupled with Christian Louboutin shoes. This dress was huge and had a gigantic train, but looked absolutely fantastic on her.
All of the people who attended looked stunning in their outfits (and they all make me super jealous) but yes overall this event was a huge success for everyone involved. I am so glad it all worked out and I could be entertained for a while.
