MTV Movie Awards 2016 - Best and Worst Dressed

The two big trends on the red carpet this event were pants, and -as always- black. The modelling trio, Kendall, Cara and Gigi, hit the carpet in all-black looks and just wait till you see Kendall's sandals, they prove that black doesn't have to be boring. Along these looks there were so many others, but I have managed to narrow it down to 10 major looks and 10 flops.

Best Dressed:

Kendall Jenner:
She looked stunning in this stringy piece. She has clearly decided to partake in the high-neck trend. This outfit really focuses on texture, with a laced top and shoes, and also with scalloped edges on the sleeves.

Holland Roden:
Holland looked fabulous in an interesting neckline, coloured velvet and the current trend of pants. I am not sure if the matching clutch was too much, but whatever! This girl pulled it off!

Vanessa Marano:

I am in love with this look! A short, full black playsuit with a low, collared v-neck and a pop of red buttons that tie the clutch and the suit together. She rocked this outfit with black stilettos and a slick ponytail.

Miles Teller:
Being one to usually wear a suit to events, Miles let his hair down in this on trend, silky bomber jacket and black jeans. The colours are subtle yet flattering.

Adam looks casual yet classy in this blue textured suit and monochrome, patterned button up. His white sneakers really stand out against his dark suit pants.

This girl is not only Casper Lee's Crush she also crushes the fashion game. This sexy, unbuttoned black striped suit and lace bralette. I am also loving that yellow button up or should I say button down...

This classy three-piece suit is a perfect colour on Ed. With gold buttons to top it off, Ed looks good enough to eat!

 Grace Helbig:
Grace looks super cute in this pastel lavender dress with cut-outs. She has kept the cute vibe by pairing this dress with an ice-cream truck clutch with is AMAZING! To keep this look simple she has just worn some black pumps.

This look is so chic. The shoes are everything, paired with this navy silk jumpsuit. The glamorous necklace and the simple pony tail are such a contrast that it looks good.

This tight black jumpsuit is flattering, sheer panels on the upper-half create interest and appeal.  To this look, Cara has added simple gold bracelets and black pumps.

Farrah tried way too hard for this one, she looks like a firework.

Don't get me wrong this lady is hilarious! However she needs a dress that fits her, this one looks too baggy.

 Tyler Posey:
Tyler is a super sexy actor but perhaps fashion just isn't his thing. This Tracksuit is funny but it is way too daggy to be on a red carpet. Sorry Tyler.

Emilia seems like a nice girl and she is gorgeous, but what is going on with this dress. The faces are freaky, but I guess it's a good way to get attention.

Whoever said that you can never have to much bling, clearly never saw this look. The jewellery does not match the casual vibe of his clothes.

She may be one of my favourite artists, but this look just did not work. The colour is not at all flattering on her and the shorts look like they don't fit her.

She may be known for her kooky clothes, but I think that this outfit was taking it a little too far. Sequins, Fur and crazy colours, too much happening.

This outfit looks too separated. He has all the colour in one spot, with the tie and the suit jacket. Then he has not incorporated that dark blue into the rest of his outfit. Also the patterns on his tie and jacket clash.

Kat is a beautiful girl, but this time round she got it wrong. This dress is very ill-fitting. everything else about the outfit is fine, It's such a shame that this beautiful outfit had to go to waste.
